SPEAKING & WORKSHOPS
Practice management sessions for Licensees, institutions and professional bodies...
In 15 years of designing and delivering adviser programs, workshops and presentations, we’ve learnt that being a memorable speaker is about making sessions engaging, interactive and fresh experiences.
I've sat through enough "dry" presentations myself to realise the key to creating value lies in giving people clear direction on what they can do, providing practical actions they can adopt and making the experience of working "on" your business enjoyable.
Our speciality is blending innovation with core practice management expertise, and encouraging advisers to explore the practical side of practice success, supported by insight into digital thinking and the myriad of new business tools becoming available to SMEs each day.
Talk is cheap. Insight is value. Inspiring action creates results.
Two modes of delivery to create buzz at your next event or conference
Energetic, engaging and relevant keynote presentations of between 45 and 90 minutes.
- Drawing directly from proven program content
- Tailored to audiences, topics selected in collaboration with hosts
- Maximum impact right at the heart of the most relevant business issues for that group and inspire action outside of sessions
- Practical, clear calls to action and follow-up potential
Highly interactive and engaging half or full day facilitated sessions for groups of 12 - 20 participants.
- Deeper exploration into business success and innovation
- Practical activity with open discussion between attendees
- An outstanding platform for forging relationships with advice firms.
- Can be run these as ongoing programs, with PDM & BDM support
- Great platform to build Licensee and adviser relationships.

Who should and shouldn't be worried about the impact of technological advancement?
The cut off is simple. If you offer a service, you can be commoditised by tech, but if you're in the experience business, you've got something tech can't touch.
This all about helping answer the question, "Why pay for advice?"
Annual Reviews seem like the youngest child in the family to me. They never quite get the attention of the first appointment.
Maybe it should though. A 2012 study showed that a whopping 76% of clients surveyed think 'achieving stated goals and objectives" most define successful advice.
This module is all about pimping your Review experience and make it something clients learn to love, want and tell others about.
This is a two-part session focused on one of the most fundamental questions advice firms must be able to answer; who do you work with and what do you do for them that’s valuable
We unpack one concept advice firms struggle to grasp; niching, to help firms work through their natural aversion to “going narrow”, helping them “get: how to connect with prospects who want advice, before providing a framework for presenting a strong, compelling offer based on explaining easily what you do and why it’s key to them, and how it works.

I caught Stewart speaking at the AFA GenXt Connect Tour 2016 in front of over 1,400 advisers. Stewart is a extremely thought provoking speaker who showed real expertise in sharing some very practical steps to innovate advice business models. Having read his book Finnovation before the event, it was great to delve deeper into relevant subject matter delivered by someone passionate about sharing it. If you get the chance I recommend either reading the book or alternatively listening to his ideas.

I had the opportunity to get to know Stewart whilst we travelled around the country together on the GenXt tour 2016. His unique insights into building a better business that is "future proof" were incredibly refreshing and importantly, practical. I recommend you buy his book "Finnovate" and/or listen to him speak if you get the chance.
Voted as the best speaker at two consecutive Adviser Innovation events, Stewart has proved to be an engaging and motivational speaker that provides tailored content to his audience and inspires them to change habits, try new practices and implement spoken topics.
Colleagues looked on as I tried to gather the scattered pieces of my mind up off the office floor last Wednesday morning – that’s how much Stewart Bell blew my brain during XYLive. Stewart is the kind of guy who (to quote Joel Hale) when you ask him to pass the salt, gives you a bowl of soup – his mind is just an encyclopedia of knowledge when it comes to technology to help the advice industry….It’s exciting to see our industry has professionals like Stewart helping advisers identify those problems in their businesses and guiding them through the best way to ‘eliminate, automate and delegate.
We engaged Stewart as a facilitator for the Zurich Investment 2011 Practice Development Manager forums and Elite Adviser forums held nationally. Stewart has a very engaging and enthusiastic manner and facilitated a high level of contribution from participants of the forums. The feedback from these events was excellent and Stewart contributed highly to the overall success of the events. I highly recommend him as a speaker.
